I purchased a Bosca bag only to find a tag that said made in India I was under the impression (and the price would suggest) that this was a finer Italian brand made in Italy, made with Italian leather etc,etc not something that was to be subbed out to India and kids to stitch together for God’s sake!!! Whats going on here!?!?!?

Hi Greg. This is a traditional flap-over brief. The bottom of the bag does include shock-absorbant padding. To me it accomdates a laptop perfectly. It does not have any dedicated laptop pocket, however. Some people like that. Sorry for the delay in getting your answer to you. I am considering buying model 833 for use in my work on sales calls but notice that this model doesn’t come up on the Bosca site for laptops.

Years ago our sons attended school with, I believe her name was Caro, or some similar spelling, in Springfield, Ohio. I have purchased only your women’s wallets since that time, 1960′s. Thanks for the quality leathers and designs continuing through out these many years!!!!!!!

I wish you can make an old leather (new style), front pocket with an ID holder, and instead of a money clip, a MAGNETIC money clip. You guys made this wallet, but with a regular money clip. Too uncomfortable with a regular clip.
Hmmm… It seems to me we might have something very similar to this. I am going to ask Laura in Customer Service to look at your question and let me know if she can come up with something.

Our collections are constantly evolving, and we will definitely consider all suggestions when we make changes. I have been a loyal customer for over thirty years. I have never been disappointed with any of your leatherware. It does seem a bit more difficult to find shops that display your wares in the Great Northwest (Seattle, Washington area) but, I have discovered the joy of the internet. Can you give us a tip on making certain that a business is actually selling your genuine articles ? (Do you know the shops that sell your goods?)

Thanks for being such a long time customer. I am glad that you have been happy with our products. One thing we have never done is to compromise on quality. To my knowledge we have had very few problems with counterfeit Bosca product. The only proven case in the US was a fraudulent vendor on Ebay. The spring loaded money clip in my Bosca wallet came apart and I lost a piece somewhere in the car, so the clip would no longer stay shut. I called Bosca Customer Service and the very nice lady on the phone got me to the right style and replaced the piece for free. I was very impressed. Thank you Bosca….your quality products and customer service are the best.

I sit in my Hotel room in ISHINOMAKI Japan. I have just orederd my 15th year/ monthly planner from you-! OMG were has the time gone?
Sitting here, remembering years back (14) on that day when I walked into a mall store, looking for that special item and had touched the fine leather of your zippered, 3 – ring planner.
It was almost a hundred dollars! No way could I aford something as rich as that just for a planner. As I was walking out, the sales person asked if she could help. I stated she could if she could have one of these for thirty dollars! I turned to walk away when she said she might be able to help.
In the back, they had one on sale, it was damaged but she would get it. She came out with this beautiful, zipperd dark brown leather planner! Because it had a stain on it and a small scuff mark,it was onsale for sixty dollars.
To this day, it has been my companion and guide throughout the years. I am a commerical diver working around the world and use my planner on a daily basis as a working log, hourly log, milage log and everything esle. Fourteen years of basicly, a diary!
It has some wear, but looks as good as it did when I first used it! I thank you for all the quality that you stand for!!!

About thirteen years ago I saw a Bosca leather “corespondent” bag and I FAILED to purchase it at the time. I have never seen another one and am unable to find anything as nice. Do you have any plans to make that bag again or any suggestions on how I might find one? I’ve searched ebay etc. and have come up empty.

This was always one of my favorite leathers/collections as well. You are correct that this leather opitimizes our goal that our products will “wear in not wear out” (By the way I sweat that it is totally coindidence that I have had occation to use that expression in two consecutive replies to blog questions!!) We did stop making that collection several years ago, but we are re-introducing it later this year. It will start shipping in mid October, so we will be sending out an email about it around that time. These bags might be less traditional and less businesslike that what you are remembering. I am amazed that you remembered the name for 13 years (not to mention impressed!) I would be curious to hear more about the style of the bag that you liked so much.
