Where is Christopher Bosca?

Christopher, one of those comments below is actually accurate regarding the breast wallet. I bought one from your company back in the mid-90s in black and it was absolutely fabulous, well-made, with very thoughtful attention to detail, but it was time for me to purchase another one so I bought one just last week in cognac. I am however, terribly disappointed. It no longer has the high gloss sheen that these breast wallets used to have and the credit card pockets are ridiculously deep and almost unusable. Other than that, the wallet is beautiful and perfect. It smells like leather, as it should, it does have a beautiful color, but no high gloss sheen anymore. You should really look into this. I honestly don’t know whether to keep it or return it. Or perhaps you can have one made for me with the mid 90s style attention to detail and specifications. Thanks!

Hello Louis- This is Christopher Bosca. Thank you for your detailed (and fairly favorable) review. I am sorry that you are not 100% happy with your purcahse. You are certainly welcome to return it as we want you to be happy. I would like to take this opportunity to respond for the benefit of our other shoppers. 1) I still personally inspect almost all of our leather in Italy. 2) we the decision more that 15 years ago to SLIGHTLY reduce the gloss of Old Leather as we recieved a lot of feedback that less gloss was preferred. Obviously this is a matter of personal taste. Old Leather is still a 'glossy' leather and the gloss is due to activation of natural protiens in the leather. 3) There is always a range of glossiness. Separately I am sending you an email with a photo that shows the range currently in stock. Unfortunately all of the style 615 in cognac are on the less glossy end of the spectrum. 4) 4 of the 5 pockets are what I would call perfect. The bottom pocket is a bit deep. We will make adjustments to this pocket to make it exactly the same as the others. We really do listen to feedback and we do take action, so I truely thank you for providing us with your detailed, actionable review.
