Nothing Special ...

The additional cost for monogramming is just mediocre. Nothing special. The big problem lies when the monogramming becomes a roadblock to resolving problems with substandard quality and workmanship. In such instances, BOSCA refuses to look into customer concerns and dismisses any manner of good faith in making matters right. My recent experience is a case in point. The order called for a COGNAC finish billfold. What I received was a pale imitation of all of the COGNAC billfolds I have ordered over the past thirty years. After countless emails and sending the billfold back to BOSCA for analysis, the response was pitiful and lukewarm. Following a stream of meaningless words and empty promises from BOSCA, they insisted the billfold was nothing more nor nothing less than a COGNAC billfold. Short of driving to Ohio with all of my older COGNAC billfolds to demonstrate my point, I have decided this battle is just not worth the fight. However, I am more than thrilled to voice my views on not only the products, but also--(and most importantly) the below second-rate customer service. Choose Monogramming only if you are confident about the product you order. What is the Latin phrase?: caveat emptor ( "let the beware").

Our cognac color Old Leather may be slightly different from an older wallet that you have used for years. In fact, use does darken the leather.

The cognac Old Leather that we currently produce is inspected by me personally. It is the color that we have been specifying for many years. I set the standard, and I check the production. We are not manufacturing new product to match your old product.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: We take great pains to make sure that the photos on our website are a highly accurate representation of what you will receive.

Please note that we both returned your wallet to you AND we refunded you the full price of your order. You have a point when you say that it took too long to resolve your case. This is frustrating for me. Staffing for our small Ohio-based customer service department is difficult. For the tedious response time we apologize. We certainly strive to, and hope to, do better

Very cute, very worth It

Had a 331 monogrammed on a wallet for my husband to represent our anniversary of March 31st. It was very cute and a nice touch to a necessary gift (he needed a new wallet)
