Thank you for leaving a review. I was a little surprised to hear that you feel quality has slipped. I still inspect the leather personally prior to cutting and there are three inspection stages during production plus a final inspection in Springfield, Ohio. I am often consulted when pieces are pulled out by our inspectors. To be fair, every piece is slightly different and unique due to the hand-staining. Hitting the right amount of color variation is always a judgement call in the end. I am sorry that you received one that you are not happy with. I do feel that, as you say, it will wear ion nicely. If it does not, and you are still not happy I invite you to contact our customer service team. They will do something to help you (might not be a complete replacement, but we tend to be accomodating, especially to good, long-time customers)

Hello Blake- so sorry that your experience was not good. It is true that leather will not stand up to keys and other sharp objects- especially nice leather like ours which is not covered with heavy pigments and finishes. Although you are clearly disappointed I do feel that in the long run you may be surprised at how the wallet wears in. The scratches will not go away but they will soften and become part of the overall patina. In 'Wallet vs. Keys' sharp edged metal wins. Hello Mr Walters- it appears that everything is in process and the refund should be completed today on our end. There is sometimes a further delay of a day or two for your bank to show the credit. We received your return on June 19. Our promise is to complete returns within 10-14 days, but we are always happy to check to make sure that all is OK.
